Message 1st I head... no no no... HKS Hiper has too large of a diameter of piping to work on an NA. False.

Then is was... test pipes will hurt performance on an NA... This has arguably been proven false.

OK.. now on the the Stillen header one. My question is this... how can the VG30DE be the only NA engine in extistance that does not benifit from free flowing headers? Chevy's, Fords, Honda's and other Nissans all get gains from them. Now I'm not saying that Stillen's claimed 17hp increase is accurate... but it's gotta be around 10. Do we have ANY accurate dyno info to prove that they don't do ANYTHING worth while?

Seems to me that whenever someone asks about them... you get 50 yahoos that don't even drive NAs.... or have even seen dyno numbers to prove it... get up and post... "not worth it unless your spraying". Of course there are folks who have had them and didn't get what they felt was their money's worth on them...

This brings up another point. Time after time I've seen posts about how NA just don't react well to most "normal" engine build up techniques... headers... cams and cam sprockets... etc... all I ever see is... "not worth it on an NA".... could this be due to the fact that no one has ever properly tuned the ECU etc to take advantage of the mods?

This has always puzzled me and I thought I'd throw it out for general consumption/discussion.
